I am a licensed Clinical professional Counselor in Nevada with over 9 years of experience working as a Therapist, crisis response and group therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. I have taken several trainings in trauma of all ages. My primary focus is children, I have worked with kids in the system, and worked with kids going in the system. My undergrad is in criminal justice which has helped me understand and educate parents that are dealing with child protective services to ensure positive interactions. I work with ages 3 up to 80 +. I have also worked with clients in the various communities such as Kink community and LGBTQ community, and the homeless.
My therapy style is warm and interactive, and empathetic. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I also remain transparent and encourage this in my clients when working on treatment. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive therapy.
